Risograph is a print process developed in Japan in the 1980s that is a cross-between screen printing and photocopying using inks and rotating drums. Since the paper passes through the machine multiple times slight registration shifts, opacity changes, and roller marks do happen, making every print potentially unique. It’s about as close as one can get to achieving hand-printing effects similar to  screen printing or offset lithography while still using a machine.
